“I need a new start. I need to get out of Neptune. I need to breath.” Logan whispered, taking Veronica’s hands in his.
“Then let me come with you,” Veronica replied, squeezing his hands.
“I don’t think you should, not for the moment anyway.”
“Are you trying to get away from me?”
Logan sighed and shook his head. “No but if you come with me nothing will change.”
“Why do things have to change?”
“Cause we’re not good for each other right now. One day we will be though. You’ll see.”
