At first they didn't know what to do when she wasn't around. They felt like shadows of themselves as they went around there daily business. They didn't speak, not to each other and not to anyone else. It was as if there pain would flow from their lips if they did.

One day though Logan and Veronica had the same thought. Without the other knowing they rushed to the Kane house, to Duncan. He was there link. He was the way they could survive. So together they grasped onto him and didn't let go until they hole in all their chests started to heal.
