His body is bandaged up and worn out, and he's got at least two bruises that have gone from bad to worse, green and purple decorating his skin. He drags himself out of his bed mid-afternoon,because he couldn't find one good reason to wake up early in the morning. His movements are lethargic when Clint goes into the kitchen, and the first thing his eyes see is the freshly brewed coffee. Thank you Katie.
He takes a swig straight from the pot, relishing in the flavor. His spirits lifting.
This day won't be so bad after all.
