livejournal conclusions

I'm fairly confident I've decided livejournal was a very healthy outlet for most of us. You could truly speak your mind and it wasn't all about posting things for validation like FB is. Yes, comments were always respected or appreciated, but they never felt required or necessary. Livejournal wasn't about validation, it was about growing up.

Agreed completely. I was thinking about that the other day, actually, how lucky I was to have had livejournal during high school. I was able to keep a record of my adolescence, and experience everyone else's.
