The thought of hash in Canada rather scares me, considering all I hare about it is how over priced and shitty it is. Everyone is always jealous of the good hash I get in HK. I bet it was laced.

Yeah, it probably was laced with something, and it was nowhere near the stuff that you got in HK, but, as you said multiple times, the hash = fabulous, the pot = horrendous. While here hash = horrendous, the pot = fabulous.

But, while it was laced, I still got totally fucked up on it, and it was still super fun. Although the bus ride?. not so much.
