A quick thing. My first clay stop motion video. I wish I had held the last few frames a little longer. But is was just an in class test so I can be forgiven a lack of foresight. My goal is to a video without using the frame capture system, going blind as they call it.

So I'm back! Now that school has started you'll be getting an eyefull (hopefully) of stuff I'm working on. will this be any good? Only time will tell.

Not much going on right now. I still have 23ish days untill my last day of work so it's not work counting down.

So here a little doodle of a fiat I drew on a little steno pad. The things on the hood were from an earlier doodle so just ignore that.

That kid has a stone cold game.

Well I was finally able to complete an ink version of the Artful Dodger. I think this was the best of all my sketches, although I liked the pencil better. I only meant to get this done like a month ago. Oh well...

Just got back from a week of family reunioning. We stayed down in Asilomar which is just south of Monterrey. It was great riding surrey bikes, running, the aquarium, spending time at the beach and a bike ride that was a bike more than I had bargained for. Well after an entire day and some change without internet access I have returned! Did the world disappear when I was gone? Perhaps. The good news is that I was able to spend some time rescanning some old sketches that weren't working. The key is to scan on page at a time, if you just lay the sketchbook down it'll scan the pages behind it ( Read more... )

I'm on a mission to watch all the Academy Award winners for Best Picture. So far I've go most of now through 1950 covered. The bummer is that I've already seen the ones that I would find interesting independent of the award. But We'll see how well the rest go!
