Too! Many! Choices!

Right, I just checked Pollstar, and we have a problem. Namely, there are too many awesome bands coming to the Triangle this semester (I don't think people here call it the Triangle, but it works for my purposes), and my wallet and my academic career will not allow me to see all the shows I want to. Therefore, I appeal to my friends list, ( Read more... )

Oooh. I don't know a lot of their songs, but I feel like I should.

I've seen Death Cab before -- he's not bad, but not really anything to write home about either. I think the cutie in the band is Chris Walla, who also has an awesome name.

Hee. I missed him last summer, and I feel I should make it up to him. Also, I cannot stop listening to his new CD.

you GOTTA go see New Pornographers and Ted Leo. They are a guaranteed a good time! And go see Josh because he's cute and nice.

Have you seen any of them before though? It's sometimes nice to check out new bands instead of ones you've seen before.

I've only seen Death Cab before, so they're all new to me. The ones I know best out of the new ones are New Pornos, Ted Leo, and Josh Ritter, I think.

I'm really ambivalent about Death Cab -- they were a good show when I saw them last, but the all-ages crowd was really irritating. This is another all-ages show, and it's further away than any of the others.

*sigh* I confess that I really don't know any of those except Death Cab and, marginally, Dar Williams. I just kind of picked them based on how much I liked their names.

Also, there weren't nearly enough ticky boxes.
