Home is where the heart is, which shocks you. After all, you're the epitome of a free spirit, and you're never more comfortable than when you're wandering. However, even you need a home base.

That really hits square in the chest. I just don't feel completely at home anywhere right now.

You too, huh?

I've often had the notion of loading up a couple of dufflels, some saddlebags and my backpack, andn then getting on a motorcyle and ride, just ride until I find someplace I like. The modern day nomad, you know?

Yeah. I get that sometimes. My parents moved after I left for college, so their house isn't my home. Bard felt like home by the time I left it, but Savannah doesn't quite feel like home yet. Probably because I know I'm not staying here after school. I'm heading back up to the notheast, so I'll probably just feel horibly displaced for the next few years. The south just isn't my place. The weather makes me misserable.

Yeah. My idea destinations for wandering are either Seattle, Boston, or somewhere in AZ.

New York's crossed my mind occasionally, but it would eat me alive.

I just like the weather in the northeast in general. I like snow and actual winters that exist. The suburbs around NYC are where I grew up. The weather there is really nice. I haven't entirely settled on where I want to live, yet, but it has to have both a summer and a winter, because I can't only have one that lasts nine months on either side of the spectrum.
