you dont realize how much you rely on patterned paper and embellishments until you limit yourself. these 2 layouts were done for a challenge where i was required to use only cardstock, rubbons, ribbon and pens. it was a lot harder than i thought it would be because i kept getting these great ideas of what i could do to give it some splash but then

Wow. These are really good for being limited to a few basic things.
I would have been completely clueless on where to start XD

all it takes is a split second of creative "pop," and everyone is capable of it. i am sure you could come up with a way to fulfill this challenge if you set your mind to it. and when you do, make sure you share.
