Prompts that require header correction 1. GEN, argument leads to Wes getting shot [prompt]This is my first prompt, so I hope I'm doing it right. Anyway, here's what I'm looking for (and I apologize for the length, but this whole idea just came to me and I couldn't let any of it go):
Wes and Travis are working on a case, going to talk to a witness or suspect (or something case-related), and they're bickering. Not a major, major fight, but enough to get them a little upset and a lot distracted from what they're doing. They aren't paying enough attention to their surroundings, and they don't realize they're walking into an ambush. They never expected it. By the time they discover what's going on and can take cover, Wes gets shot. Travis manages to drag him to safety and hold off the bad guys until backup arrives.
Travis feels incredibly guilty, since he was the one who picked the fight. (He was intentionally pushing Wes's buttons, trying to get a rise out of him, and Wes was actually getting pretty worked up and angry with Travis.) Wes is in pretty bad shape, though, so Travis has to wait and wait to apologize. Finally, Wes wakes up, Travis apologizes, and Wes insists that he doesn't blame him. But, they do realize that they can't repeat the same mistake again. They can't let their differences/disagreements distract them from their work, or else someone will get hurt again, they'll fail to solve cases, etc.
That's the basic concept that I envisioned. If any of the following could be included, as well, that would be extra awesome:
-Travis rides in the ambulance with Wes, and maybe the EMTs have to use the defibrillator, which is traumatic to see. Then, he refuses to leave the waiting room/Wes's room/the hospital until Wes wakes up and he can talk to him. -While he waits to apologize to Wes, someone else who's waiting or visiting (maybe the Captain) tries to tell him that it's not his fault, but he doesn't listen. -Travis feels especially bad because he said something pretty cruel during their argument. He blurted out something mean (as he seems to do quite often when they really go at it), and he knows it hurt Wes's feelings. -Maybe Travis calls Alex just to let her know what happened, and they have a little heart-to-heart. -If the story continues on to include Wes's recovery, Travis insists on helping Wes during his (long, difficult) recovery, and Wes really tries to not be annoyed. Also, they discuss the incident in therapy, and Dr. Ryan tries to help them move past it and use what happened to improve their relationship.
Any (or all!) of the above is fine with me. I'm not too picky, so the author is (obviously) free to go in whatever direction she/he wants. The only thing I really ask is that it's GEN - no slash, please. Friendship/partnership only.
If anyone decides to fill this prompt, I will be incredibly grateful! I usually just read everyone else's amazing prompts/fills, but I just couldn't get this one out of my head.
Prompts that required warnings 1. Travis/Wes, Kidnapping [prompt]one of them gets kidnapped gen pre-slash slash anything :)
2. Travis/Wes Daddy Kink! [prompt] i don't believe this place has one yet, and every fandom needs one! from what i picture, it'd be Travis holding Wes down, so i guess dominance/submission kink too >.> i'll be ok with most kinks, except watersports and scat i believe. everything else on the warnings guide is ok as well and up to anon. bdsm, dubcon, dirty talk... whatever dear author wants to write, i really just want Wes calling Travis daddy :D
Prompts with spoilers 1. Wes and the k-9 dog cuddle - ep 8! [prompt]The clip in tonight’s ep. w/ Wes and the k-9 dog cuddling while asleep just made me go “awwwww”. So now I just need any kind of fic relating to that. I don’t mind if it’s the same dog or if Wes took what Alex said and actually adopted a dog for himself. If you go w/ the adoption I think it would be adorable if you have Wes pretend the dog was a service dog so he can sneak it into the hotel.
2. Travis - Trust Issues (Spoiler Warning) - ep 11! [prompt]When Dr. Ryan said "I can't help you if I can't trust you." Travis immediately turned and walked out of the room. Done. Nuff said. Nothing left to say. I want a fic that explores that reaction to what she said. How many times has someone said that to him? I imagine he's heard it alot during his time in foster care. In my head, most of those times he didn't deserve it. He was the one whose trust was broken. Give me some Wes comforting Travis, knowing how much Doc Ryan's words affected him. Can be gen or slash, but always prefer slash. ;)
Undercover as a gay trope [spoiler tag because it also has spoilers] We got a little bit of this in 1x9 but what kind of fandom would we be if we didn't have Wes and Travis "go undercover as gay" fics? I personally love those first times where they get together because of it. But whether it's at a gay club or playing couples looking for a new place or even m of what we saw in Friday's ep with them moving in to a new place, I think we could all use a bit more undercover gay fics! Please and thank you!
Travis/Wes, [crossover:Suits] Before Wes stopped being a lawyer, he worked with Harvey Specter.
Travis/Wes, handcuff What if Doctor Ryan gets fed up with our boys one day, and snaps and decides to handcuff them together as an exercise? GUYS WHAT. IF.
Travis/Wes "Taking your clothes off is not an art" I want to see Travis prove Wes wrong about that, whether in a private show, or undercover at a strip club, or whatever scenario you come up with. Just Travis being hot and Wes being all open mouthed and uncomfortably aroused about it.
