Hello, Penny.

*looks up from her novel and smiles back, fondly*
Anthony. Hello.
How're you doing today?

*blushes at her smile and ducks his head*
M'alright. Just finished with Charms and have reading to do for it but I like to read near bedtime if the other boys will be quiet but Terry and Michael talk all the time even when they're trying to wrestle each other on m'bed, yeah?

*smile widens and brightens*
Oh, yes? That sounds like a problem - I mean about the wrestling. *small, quiet laugh* Do they do it while you're in it, or before you get there?

Do you really think your hair needs taming, Miss Clearwater?

*cheeks flush prettily*
Hello... *hesitates, then draws herself up a bit* Master Black. It can get a bit wild when it's damp *faintly plaintive* and it's so very damp here.
*twists at her hair self consciously* It's not to make the curls go away; it's just to make them lie a bit nicer.

*lowers her eyes*
I don't imagine you've ever had a problem with your hair not doing what it's supposed to.

*laughs lightly and shakes his head*
No. No, I've never had a problem with mine. I simply wouldn't allow it.

*considers her hair for a moment*
*teasingly*
Well, I'm glad that you're not planning on making the curls disappear entirely. You'd look rather different if you were bald. Not to mention that you'd get a cold head.

*drolly, but with a smile*
No, of course not.

Oh, ha ha ha. *can't keep back a giggle* That's very funny, Regulus. You know very well what I meant. *pulls at a curl* I don't want straight hair, just something that doesn't look so much like lamb's wool or a lion's mane when it's rainy.

There really are potions for everything, aren't there?
Do you think it would work on my hair, too?

There are; isn't it wonderful?

It might work for you. If you'd like to try some of mine I'd be happy to let you use some, and then if you like it you can order some for yourself. It's Anthony's mother's shop in London.

It's amazing.
I think I expected that magic would just be for really practical things, healing and building. Not hair.

Thank you.
I've never found anything Muggle that works well on my hair.
