Has anyone tried any of the Stash holiday teas? I feel tempted by the White Christmas, and maybe the Holiday Chai, but most of my past experiences with holiday teas have been *bad*.
I've had white christmas and christmas eve, and they were both awesome! I gave them as a secret santa gift as individual packages stuffed in a cute penguin mug. :)
A) Celestial Seasonings is generally unpleasant B) Most holiday blends are spiced rather than sweet. Might just want to look at ingredients before you pick one. Good luck!
I've tried Christmas Morning and Christmas Eve. The Christmas Eve tea was soooo yummy! It really does remind me of Christmas - it's a very sweet and light herbal. Although I didn't care too much for the Christmas Morning tea, I wouldn't say it was bad. If you like strong black teas you might like this one. Now that I think of it, if I had tried it with a bit of sugar and some milk/cream I may have liked it. The spices were good, it was just a bit on the strong side for me to drink it plain (as in no sugar/milk).
Last year I also bought Bigelow's Egg Nogg'n tea and HATED it. ::blech:: I love Egg Nog and I love tea, so I thought this would be my favorite holiday tea but I really did not like it one bit.
*Just a side note: I love to try new teas, but I'm always reluctant to buy an entire box in case I don't like it.
Last Christmas I baked some holiday breads to give as gifts. Because Stash and Bigelow tea-bags are all individually sealed, I was able to included 2-3 tea-bags of each holiday tea with every loaf of bread. It worked out well because I could try each holiday tea without ending up with 5 gazillion boxes on my tea shelf. It was a win-win situation. :)
