I'm SO excited!!!!
I've been wanting to try a flowering tea for... forever... well, a really long time. I saw them at the co-op last year but they were sooo expensive. (I'm on a forced austerity budget, I'm afraid, so have to pinch pennies till they scream! LOL!)
Well, today I said I deserved a treat and paid five bucks for a sample pack

Another thing you can use besides a mini coffee caraf is a wine glass.

I gave my children a lesson in tea a few evenings ago. After looking at the teas and smelling them, we watched a few different types of tea leaves, including Jasmine pearls and Gunpowder, unfurl as they steeped in little glass bowls. The kids were fascinated by our little experiment.
I have wanted a blooming tea for quite a while, but never had a reason to purchase one, other than to indulge myself. Now that I know my kids are so fascinated and really do pay attention when I'm talking about tea, I think they would enjoy a blooming tea just as much (or almost as much) as I would.
