Iced Tea

Possibly a daft question, but if I make iced tea (using ordinary teabags, sugar and lemon juice) and keep it in the fridge for a few days, will it have as much caffeine as a normal cup of tea, or will it have less?

What brand is "ordinary"?

I don't think that the caffeine goes away; it's just how some types occasionally get bitter if you don't drink fast enough.

Good question, probably PG Tips. It's one of the default teabag brands in England.

I don't remember discussing anything about the breakdown of caffeine while stored dissolved. I know it doesn't break down when stored in green coffee beans over several years.

Make it cold-brewed (soaking the bags in water) and it will have little. Suntea will have more. Make tea with boiling water and it will have the largest amount. The difference can be up to a power of thirty.
