Now, I'm not really one for awards shows, but I must admit that this year's Academy Awards are making me smile. And I thought that the choir of people making sound effects with just their voices (and maybe hands?) was pretty amazing because I'm a choir-dork like that.

So, Akeelah and the Bee? One of the sweetest movies I've seen in a LONG time. And it's not a spelling bee movie like Spellbound or anything. It's just so sweet and adorable and feel-good, and everyone should watch it.

So my auditions for Eastern Regionals is tomorrow. I'm not nervous as of right now. But come tomorrow at eight thirty? Wish me luck. :)

(I still maintain that if I get in, it's an awesome experience. If I don't, it still looks good on college apps. It's just slightly more stressful now that it isn't just Sierra and me trying out.)

I love my chorus friends! Because they are amazing and make me feel so incredibly loved, even if it's just because I've been out for the past week.

I've been sick since, oh, Saturday night. Some kind of stomach bug (I know no one wants to know this, but I threw up for the first time in probably seven years, it was that bad.) that knocked me out pretty much unable to move on Sunday.
