I recently came across your LJ community, the_dollhouse. A friend had pointed out to me that you're using some of my photographs of Apnea and Lilah as banners and icons for your site.

While I have absolutely no problem letting people use my pictures for such things - the internet is largely about sharing media, after all - and while I'm extremely flattered that you chose my pics for your community, I really wish you had asked my permission before you used the pics. You are still welcome to use them on your site, but only with the following conditions:

1. Please ask the models permission. I know my friend Lilah probably won't care (I'll check with her since she's never online), but Apnea might, so here's her email - apnea@apneatic.com. If she's cool with you using the pic, I'm cool with it. She might ask you to link to her site - please adhere to whatever her terms are.

2. Somewhere on the images or next to them, please mention me and link to my site. Give credit where credit is due ( ... )

Oh hunnie, I'm sorry. I didn't make those banners. I will definately check with your friend for permission and if chose to continue using the banners, I will definately give you credit for them. Thanks for letting me know and also for the pictures of dolls you gave gave me the link to.

I did get Apnea's permission to use her photos for our community. One member got rejected and changed the banner totally defacing the model and your art. I just thought I would let you know about it.
