I am majoring in Computer Science at SRJC in Santa Rosa. I just realized today that I HATE computer programming and definitely do not want to be a programmer. I am taking a programming course this semester and it has been going fairly well up until today when I started working on the project that is due next Friday. This project is way more complex

Wow. Too bad you turn out to hate your major (or at least, what turns out to be the main subject of your major). At least your realized this early on, so your time hasn't been wasted. Better this way than after spending years working as a computer programmer you realize that you hate it and have been hating your life ever since you left high school. Here's hoping you find a way to learn and do something you enjoy.
