I found Paris Jackson's speech very moving too, and I feel for her and her brothers: they cannot have had a normal childhood and somehow I suspect now much of what did make their childhood wonderful, the insights and delights Michael Jackson must have been able to share, his talent, his animals . . . all that is gone. I feel for these kids.

However, it is hard to divorce Jackson's career, his talent, his accomplishment, from the fact he's been accused of abuse more than just once, and these claims were strong enough to go to trial. I do really hope his memory and moreover his kids and even his siblings are treated with dignity. But you do have to wonder.

You will be shocked & astounded to learn that the proverbial beans have finally been spilled. Don't trip over all of them, they made the floor real messy! ;-)

(oh, and some additional related beans are in a post I link to about 3/4 of the way thru -- if you're a real glutton for punishment)

I think that co-sleeping between parents and their own offspring is accepted by many, myself included. Co-sleeping between adults and *others'* offspring, even if not sexual, is not accepted in our society. He got into trouble doing that.
