Welcome the Night, the new CD by the Ataris, is for the most part BARELY recognizable as even remotely sounding like a shred of what the Ataris used to sound like.

If you try real hard, you can sometimes kinda hear little hits of (recognizable) Kris Roe in there.

Shit its more of a transformation than Vhessiu was for Thrice.

Old Ataris = Dance-able of Wonderment and goodtimes. Also good for driving around to in the Summerness.

New Ataris = The dance The Ataris did before they shat upon the paper of New Album Music. New album made me want to melt into your seat, like Alex Mack. I was hoping that mayhap the fancyfabric would muffle the sound.

That is my conclusion.
