Slashdot is a fixed coordinate in the geek universe, as stable as anything there is--as I was typing this, even the spell checker knew to capitalize it. Maybe the computer itself reads it while I'm in the bathroom. It is, however, possible to overdose on raw Linux orthodoxy, entering a kind of "nerd trance" state.

I started drinking at 3 oclock with ERIC STENSON at Champs. I am still drunk now, Hopefully sobering up for dinner with the family at capital grille.

I find it really hard to accept that some of the people whom ive spent the greater part of my life with will simply begin to fade into only memories. I will try my hardest to always hold on. It's always hard to lose someone, new friend, old, past love, anyone.

I find myself thinking this more and more.
