Supernatural, the end or the beginning of something else?
I'm not usually caught off guard by a season finale. I'm left only to wonder what will become of Sam and Dean, and the world as Supernatural knows it.
It makes perfect sense that Ruby was the biggest manipulator ever. She single handedly got Sam to kill Lillith, breaking the final seal and bringing on the apocalypse. Perhaps others weren't fooled as I was but some portion of Ruby captivated me over time. At first I was a little suspicious of the helpful demon who was so willing to help Sam and Dean fight for good ... of course using other ways.
I'm not too sure where this leaves the show. I've noticed a lot of paralells. Does this turn into a battle of the brothers? Dean still has a role to play, and does that role involve killing Sam? What happens of the apocalypse? How much longer can a show go on when the world ceases to exist as we know it?.
