Moonstruck has come on the television. This is a good thing. I am suddenly craving Eggs Benedict.

Update! We made our own Eggs Benedict and watched the movie.

I have thoroughly shuffled a deck of cards. Much to my surprise, here are the first five cards I drew:

Since my university is 58% female and has one of the highest Hispanic populations in the country, it's not surprising that other schools might be interested in recruiting our students. On my way to my car this morning, I walked right through a giant spider web strung between two trees.

Is the spider still on me?

In the parking lot of a dollar store on Tuesday night, we saw a strange man.

Wearing a Jerry Garcia beard, he looked like he was about 60. He wore purple pants and a purple shirt with the words "PURPLE MAN."

He got into a purple van and drove off.

Who is this guy? Can anybody help me out, please?

After getting big laughs at Target the other night making fun of a guy in his sunglasses, I thought I'd take a look at a more serious side of the issue ( Read more... )
