I had an issue not too long ago with my cable modem. It was constantly resetting itself, and not booting back up. I'd lose my connection all the time, and when I had it, it would go ass slow. Comcast, try as they might, had no fucking clue as to what was going on, so we ended up just replacing our modem(for freez :D!). After that everything worked perfectly.
What I think happened is my modem got shorted out during a storm. Since I don't have a surge protector(unfortunately) and the power blipped out and back on a couple times. At any rate, I say try replacing your modem, its not even a hassle in the slightest to do that, just go down to their office with yours and be like gimmie a new one.
This detection is not a detection for the vulnerability of your machine. If you got this warning, it is an indication that a malicious piece of code passed through your network or your machine, but was detected by Trend Micro as MS02-039_SQL_SERVER_RESOLUTION_EXPLOIT.
If you do not have a SQL server running, your PC is safe.
"This kind of thing shouldn't be bothering me because I use Windows XP and it doesn't affect that certain OS."
At the time I just wasn't sure what was doing it, but I know now its my internet. SO now i'm going to complain to comcast for telling me a lot of shit like it was my fault. Who the hell is Ryuujin_Zero? Heh!
