It's possible, depending on the capabilities you harbor to learn powers. For instance, Nen can be developed through training to obtain more power, though as Nen is tied directly to my home world, I don't think you can use it. You can try developing the powers you obtained from your respective home world, if any exist.

I haven't heard of anyone learning new powers, unless they already had some similar magic or something like that. Or maybe if the Animus did something. But you can still learn to fight.
