Disappointments are the only ones you should miss

Apr 18, 2006 00:00

I am surrounded by my own disappointment. I find it in myself, in my school work, and in my friends. There are only a few (1 or 2 maybe) at home that have dissapointed me. However, the people up here that i would once call my closest friends I'm not sure if i should anymore. I thought i was with them, that we were all together and enjoying the ( Read more... )

I am a bad friend. I can remember being mad at you for quite some time and I too am guilty of fucking up. And fucking up bad. I just feel like you are too busy with all this stuff there. Not friends and stuff, but school stuff and work and studying. It's not an excuse for me not calling though. I miss you a ton and I just feel bad for maybe causing you to miss out on stuff with school. So again.... I am really sorry. My mind wanders sometimes. I've been bad with everything lately. I've got some fixing to do.

yeah, i find that there are a lot of people really different then the people we grew up with... i find that really weird, was it just that we grew up in a small town? but there are other small towns.. there is just something about our friends from st. johns that makes them... good friends

you're on to something. I can tell by watching Andy and you guys that you are better friends to each other than my friends from home ever have been. It makes me kind of jelous, and sad.

p.s. from a kinda small town

i feel the same way. I mean i don't want to be stuck in the high school years forever but you ar right. there is just something about us as a whole. I like us, a lot. I think it has less to do with the small town, although i'm sure that helped, and more to do with our personalities working so well together.

Hey, I hope you aren't still feeling bad about forgetting to call me or whatever. Seriously, not a big deal. I understand how busy stuff gets. I have a phone card now and I'll try to remember to call tonight (although I think I'm supposed to call my sister in China...so...perhaps not). Anyway, much luck with college friends.

i had a very difficult transition into college, more or less in the second semester, such as yourself. most of it was in fact due to the supposed friends issue. not only can i confidently say that i do not have a single close friend here, but i'm repulsed by most ( ... )
