Owie! We saw Watchmen this past weekend, and I had the same stumbling-in-the-dark experience exiting the theater, without the hyperextending and bashing parts. (Hand rails are my friends...)

It might be worth a phone call to the theater to inquire as to how to file a slip and fall claim. If they cooperate, you might could get that ankle checked out by a professional..... just sayin'. It may be too late, since you didn't report it at the time.

One hopes you are getting as much rest and elevation of the injured paw as possible, along with ice (both for your drink and the ankle).

Unfortuneatly my job doesn't allow for much down time and is very physical to boot (no pup intended.) The first day at work, even with the splint, was pretty painful.
