RIP Misty Hollaman

In my line of work (with pets) I sometimes have to help with sad things, made even sadder by knowing them personally. Recently my friend Jimmy (he's got an LJ too) and his family made the tough decision to have their dog Misty euthanized. HUGS! I'm crying like a baby too. Pets become part of the family quite easily.

Aw, man! Don't do that, or I'll start in!

It really is bittrsweet when I've worked with a pet for its whole life and they treat me like family. I wouldn't trade that feeling for the world. When it comes that time I know that they can relax and not be afraid, that I have always been their friend.

I'm glad you was there for my parents. it was helpful to them to have a person they know there at that point in time. It really did mean a lot to them, as you can tell by the flowers they brought you. My dad also said the same thing about her being ready to just pass on...
