Okay, so I learned about 6 Christmas songs tonight, here's what it looks like I'll be doing for this "EP" (considering it's taken me months to assemble the covers project I was working on, I don't know how well this is going to work out in a week

Um. I think I would hate you if you ruined nice lovely Christmas songs with techno crap. But I love you and you're not going to do that and it's all good. I hope you end up finishing it because I want to hear it!

oh, no. there should be few if any electronic elements in it. it's going to be a lo-fi (yet still mixed on pro software) organic project. I don't know what direction the sound is going to take, but I assume I'm going to take the guitar part, put a lot of echo on it, layer some piano, maybe a violin pitch in the background (that should be the only electronic part) with slightly distorted sounding vocals. And I should be "sampling" little bits of other things at the beginning and end of songs. And I'm working on the somber arrangement of "Rudolph the rednose reindeer" which is going to be a little instrumental I put at the end, I've decided.
