im sure you already figured it out. but generally if you give no notice they automatically renew your contract. its more likely you're stuck for another year rather than homeless.
ahhh i see...yeah, this is the first time i've lived in a non-school apartment so i wasn't sure how it worked. i finally got in touch with them and i'm pretty sure my landlord wasn't even aware we lived here at all. he basically said just stay until we feel like leaving...so yeah, it's apparently all cool. thanks though! :o)
