+ I finally tried anchovies on pizza!
- I understand why people don't order them - it overpowered all the other ingredients!

I have eaten raw herring in a dutch harbor so I am not averse to strong flavors but yeah, it just doesn't work for me. Does anyone else like anchovies on pizza?

I like them, sometimes. Not when they're the yucky hairy feeling one though.

Also, I don't like them on pizza with anything but sauce and cheese and a good crust, MAYBE some garlic.

Also, until this summer I'm pretty sure Nic didn't like it either, but when in NJ visiting family, the anchovy pizza went first, and that was when he told me HE likes them too. (my mom, brother and SIL also had the anchovy pizza, heh.)

Can't eat them (fish allergy) but have enjoyed their flavor the few times they've been hidden in things and eaten them unexpectedly. That's the way I feel about green peppers though. They overwhelm everything esle and only get worse the longer the pizza sits.
