I really, really, really love this chapter. Scorching hot and sexy, yes, but also very sweet and tender and insightful--the kind of emotional underpinning that makes the sex so much hotter and more powerful. And the bits of humor in here (like the brilliant 'aardvark umbrella' exchange) and perfect and funny and so very fitting for these two. No matter how their relationship changes, that dynamic will always be there.

Howard wanted to talk to Vince's parents and find out why they were letting their son dress like a rent boy and chase nearly grown men on the tube.This is another one of those sections of the story that touches me, every single time I read it, and that whole flashback of Howard's is one of my favorite sections of the story, as his fantasy of Vince-the-knowing-Lolita crashes right into the reality that Vince is actually just an innocent playing at something that could get him in WAY over his head.
