Just when I think this story can't get any better it does. Their interactions are so believable and I love how you've expanded on some bits from the series that I feel haven't really been explored enough, like all of the pairings behind those closed doors *shudders* and the truth surrounding Pencil Case Girl's name. Most importantly I love insecure!Vince, because I feel like that really is a big part of who he is that gets downplayed far too often, in the series and in discussions and in fanfic. Can't wait to see how this one turns out.

HOT!! Loved the sex scene so much that I may have to go spend some...alone time...now, but also loved all the talking and feels!!! Them sabotaging each other with women, it's so angsty but sweet and sort of dysfunctional but in a hot way and then Vince's question at the end OMG it punched me right in the feels!! Which I love, of course, lol.

Awesome chapter!!! :D

Just when I think this can't get hotter, funnier, more touching or insightful, you surpass yourself. This is just a delight to read, and I must admit that I'm glad Vince and Howard are being difficult. I'm not ready to be done with this one yet!

I want whatever you want, Howard, I just need to know what it is.This line! This is the most perfect summation of Vince and his character in a single line ever. I had to stop and marvel at how revealing and spot-on that is. (And also pause to facepalm, because I have to admit that I have actually said things very, very close to that in real life. Reading your fanfic is more useful to me than counseling!) He can't ask for what he wants, because that's too terrifyingly vulnerable--too much of a risk of what he seems to think is all-but-certain rejection. It's at once easier and more painful to let Howard determine what their relationship should be and then convince himself that it's exactly what he wants and he's happy with it ( ... )

You are a monkey genius. I am so far behind with my reading and commenting... hope you'll forgive me for not leaving comments on previous chapters... but I have LOVED this story so far and am very pleased that it's ended up longer than originally planned because I can't get enough of the dialogue you write for these two.

I do need to bleach my brain after that glimpse of Eleanor and the Ape of Death though...
