note i have no idea why i decided to make a poem of this prompt (shamelessly stolen off this site), but i'm glad i did. this is the first poem i've ever written so... be nice? :D
Kissing 101
the first of two
of things of passion
gentle, monumental
in slow, languid fashion
forward you step,
your hand on his cheek
keep nose to nose
and through eyes do speak
you take a breath,
pull by his waist
breathe in his scent
leave naught to haste
his silken strands,
like threads spun fine
run fingers through
the soft black vine
he steps slowly back,
eyes lidded close
shoulders pressed down
he curls his toes
you each tilt heads
breath heating skin
lips touch warmly,
your tongue probes in
he shudders, curls fingers,
shivers and sighs
you hold him firm
though a part of you dies
you dance together
a dance of tongue
your teeth catch his lip
it's red; bee-stung
you trace his jaw
and reach his ear
whisper so quiet
he'll barely hear
"I'll kiss you, babe
and kiss you sweet."
hand to his chest
to feel his heart beat
he's a mess in your arms
his lips at your throat
lust clouds his voice
in a smokey coat
his eyes grow light
he trembles, restless
"you kiss the best,
of a thousand kisses."
the second of two is a tangle of sheets, they hum as they come and settle-complete.
