Who: Jun & Yuan!
What: Picking her up for the partay. Srs talks.
When: This is like post-dated to early Friday evening, of course. We were bored and jumped the gun?
Where: Yuan's place.
Warnings: Doubtful!

When the news came of Yuan's friends turning up - one unexpectedly and one they had of course been searching for - he couldn't be happier for Yuan. He was glad things were improving. She was resilient, but someone could only take so much loss regardless of the support system around them. He knew that all too well, all of F4 did. Despite this, they soldiered on because they could rely on each other. Any strength he had in himself he attributed to having the three guys to rely on.

And in time, she had come into his life and become just as important.

Picking out a leather jacket, he slid it on and stepped out of the guest room of his brother's home. Gang stood there staring at him, his clean shaven features staring back at him with a grin. Making an uncomfortable grunt, Jun adjusted his collar and averted his gaze. Gang strode over to him and gave him a brotherly pat on the back. Exchanging a few sarcastic words between each other, he left him with a lame peace sign for a departure rather a wave and headed out to go pick up Yuan.

He had come back a day ahead of time to finish what he had started at his mother's house with Gang. His brother hadn't faulted him for rushing off to go help Yuan, which he hadn't expected him to but appreciated it all the same. Now that the day of the party was here and he had his thoughts sorted with Feng's helpful advice coupled with Gang's, he was ready to speak his mind to the girl in question. This time around was going to be different. The party was going to be ten times more enjoyable to him and depending on how things went with his talk with her prior to arriving, he would have more reasons to stick around her.

Smiling bashfully to himself, he hopped aboard his motorcycle and sped off toward her home. She didn't live too far from his brother's home, but the drive itself barring the occasional unpleasant sight of the stray undead, was nice. The cool air and the reason for his jacket felt nice. He would show up at her doorstep looking well. His overall look had been improving in the past few weeks. Though he hadn't been working out as much as he should have been, he had been eating better and wasn't nearly as skinny looking as he appeared for months now. His hair had grown out a bit, too, something he hadn't noticed really until he had stared at his own reflection long enough to shave that (late) morning.

Rubbing the back of his head, Jun parked the motorcycle and headed up to her front door and gave a knock before letting himself in as he normally did. It felt strange not to throw a self-conscious glance over his shoulder even now for any paparazzi, but it wasn't entirely unwelcomed. Closing the door behind him, he looked around expectantly.

"It's just me," he called through the house. Leaning back against the door, he inclined his head with a smile on his face. He was feeling optimistic, maybe because he felt there was a great deal of good change coming their way with this influx of better news.

It felt good to hope.
