Who: Jun & Selina (some mentioning of Feng and Tayla)
What: They've dragged him out of the safety zone to Disneyland. Boy is he in for an unpleasant surprise.
Where: Disneyland/California Adventure..! In Anaheim.
When: Early Sunday morning. This is worth noting. Slight backdating.
Warnings: Violence! Zombies. Surprise, surprise.
The early morning sun was not pleasant. So much so that Jun was none-too happy to have been rudely awakened and prompted to go out to the car. Mumbling incoherently to nameless faces due to being so groggy, he staggered to throw on a pair of jeans and practically stumbled out the door. He was a tired mess and couldn't remember just what it was they were intending to do that day, which probably worked in his favor since he had been so nervous about doing it in the first place. He really was against going, but now he wasn't left with much other choice.
In the car, he unsurprisingly fell back asleep. Once they had breached the safety zone of the city of Los Angeles, they were fair game. It wasn't an easy drive either, as the outside world was in haphazard. Cars hadn't been removed from where people had left them, and the only thing going for them was the fact that it had been a low-traffic time when the pulse struck on this side of the country. Cars were easily dodged and before he knew it, he was being nudged awake.
Feeling better after catching up on his beloved sleep this way, Jun opened his eyes to find Disneyland and its opposing theme park the California Adventure staring him in the face. Brow furrowing, he ignored the three in the car with him to get out of it altogether and examine their surroundings. It was eerily quiet where there had once been sounds nonstop day in and day out. He remembered that much from their visit here so many years ago.
Disbelief caused him to simply go along in silence with Selina to the front gates. The flowers comprising Mickey's face in the entrance were mostly wilted, but the image was discernible enough. It earned a small smile from him, a nostalgic one. Saddening in a way, as this had once been a place so full of life. Turning to Selina, he was met with the sight of the Feng and Tayla's retreating figures and raised his eyebrows in surprise.
His first words of the day would be, "Where are they going?"
