Kira put his hands in the pockets of his light jacket and fingered the money. He had just finished up and was hoping to get home. All the money was delivered to certain people at night for them to hand off to the boss. If you didn't trust them you could go find Shige yourself and give him the money but that was a hard task. Rei was the closest so Kira decided to drop the money off to him and get home before his mom got home and noticed him missing. Turning down his usual alley Kira waved to get Rei's attention.

Rei leaned his head back and looked over in Kira's direction. "Finished?"

"Yeah." Kira stopped by him. "Here's the cash I got I sold all that I had on me." He waited for Rei to count out his payment for what he made tonight.

Rei gave Kira all that he earned tonight and put the rest back in his pocket. Looking up in the sky he glanced down at Kira and wondered if it was just his imagination or did is seem like Kira was becoming more confident in himself these days. He didn't think it was a good thing. "If you need more money you could...you know...but I don't know if Masao would like that. Then again maybe you two could save up and run away together." he said offhandedly.
