Rei was at work, mainly looking out the window at the people passing by.  It was a slow period and Rei enjoyed the break, not that he ever worked all that hard in the shop. His true job was to watch Shuichi and that's as far as he took it.  He liked the location though as his shop was right next to the pastry shop and many kids he knew from school ( Read more... )

When Shige rounded the corner, his eyes widen in shock. His right hand man was being overpowered. Rei had always been able to take care of himself. There was definitely something odd here.

Shige had been trailing one of these guys all week. After his date with Andy, Shige had to go back to her apartment to check the place out. He had an uneasy feeling about it on that night, and he wasn’t one to just ignore it. Upon his exploring, he had come across a strange guy who bolted the moment he saw Shige. This was the same guy before Shige now.

In an attempt to find out more, Shige had expanded his search to a wider section around the apartment. Nothing else came up in his search, except he did catch eye of the guy once more, and once again, the guy bolted and disappeared.

Quickly, Shige’s had found its way to his pocket. With a flip of a wrist, a shiny blade appeared. Just as fast as he had drawn his weapon, Shige was charging the men. He pulled his arm back and slashed horizontally across one of the men’s face.

Shige was not planning on giving these guys any mercy. They had stepped down a path where they had to face the consequences. However, the guys quickly made it obvious they weren't interested in fighting Shige. All it took was one of them to shove Shige away, and they took off. Anger flashed in Shige's mind, temporarily blinding him as he darted after the two. He had made it around on corner before his sense returned. He stopped and listened to the footsteps echo in the alleys before turning back to help his comrade.
