Rei stood by an alley entrance staring at the chipped graffiti. It was starting to show a lot more peeling everyday but it didn't matter it could always be rewritten it mainly held the purpose of keeping people out and away from this particular alley. Hikaru made a face as she ended up in an area she didn't think was a good idea to be in. She'd been taking a short cut to her dance class since she was running late. 'I must have taken a wrong turn somewhere...' she thought, annoyed. She glanced the direction of the alley she was about to pass and blinked a few times when she noticed Rei. 'I wonder if he might give me directions....'

"Excuse me..." she called, hoping she wasn't getting herself into trouble. Hikaru switch the side she carried her dance bag on to avoid showing him the name that was embroidered into it without it seeming obvious. "Do you think you could help me? I'm a little lost...."

Rei looked down at the girl before taking a quick glance down the alley. He really didn't want the girl to get mugged so he moved out onto the sidewalk more. "Where are you trying to get to?" he asked.

"....actually, I'm trying to get to a dance studio....I was running late and took a short cut I wasn't really familiar with...and ended up here..." Hikaru said, looking a bit sheepish. She gave him an absentminded grin. "I think I took a wrong turn..."

"Dance studio!" Rei asked a little confused. "We sure as hell don't have those over here your way off that for the rich kids on the nice blocks not these crap ones." he looked back down at the package. "If you give me the address though I can instruct you where to go but thats all I have an appointment to keep." If he missed it his boss would be livid and it would cost him greatly.

Masao turned into one of the familiar alleys to him. He smiled as he recognized Rei there. He walked up the taller boy, silently, smiling while looking at his feet. "Well what do we have here?" he asked, grinning at Rei.

"Masao keep showing up late and the boss will punish you." Rei said back a sly smile on his face. He studied Masao a bit the boy seemed to be having more troubles then usual. He knew of Masao's family and of Kira but usually it wasn't so bad to hold Masao back but it seemed like something was.

"I heard you switched schools. How is it going for you? Made any friends?" he asked.

"I pretty much dropped out of mine. Stopped going a couple of weeks ago it was pointless attending when everyone hated me and I hated them. I wouldn't mind going to a school with someone I know." Rei cocked his head eying Masao.

"What do you say about me switching over to yours?"
