You'd think a city a hundred times bigger than Inaba wouldn't fall prey to the same small town bullshit.
Got a shitty desk job, but it isn't gonna cut it. Checking out a backlog of newspapers tells me this is a city badly in need of a little justice. One upon a time I woulda gone to the police; they've gotta be desperate, I bet they don't get a lot of cops who stick around. Now, I dunno. Vice'd probably wet themselves to get me, but Japan's just a fax away, whatever the pamphlets say, and my file with it. Not to mention- is it a cliché if I refer to them as "those meddling kids"? 'Cause, damn.
I wonder if the government's hiring.

So, hey, people acting totally uncharacteristically, does that happen a lot here? I probably shouldn't mention this, but I've kinda got experience with the legal system and Desai's is... well, it's pretty flimsy. But if stuff like that's a regular occurrence, I can see why. When the supernatural gets involved it's tough to make charges stick. I mean, that was supernatural, right? Haha, I don't really know at all.
