It's a really good feeling to know that people think about you. A little note from someone that says "I hope you feel better" or a text message or bringing me soup. That's real friendship.

We should all be so lucky to have such thoughtful people in our lives.

For the first time here at Santa Clara, I turned down a dance opportunity. I'm on my way to separating myself from the department, and slowly, from dance.
