Princess Tatra of Chizeta - Departed as of early May. In order to miss someone, that person must occupy a specific place in your life which is left barren in her absence. Her Highness, in contrast, deftly avoided occupying anything except my heart.
Lord Chang Ang of Fahren - Departed as of early May. It seemed to me that he had some trouble adjusting to the absurdities of the City; returning home is likely the best thing to happen to him since he arrived here. On the other hand, where will he find more Earth technology to catalogue now?
Knight Hikaru - Arrived early May. This is the third time she has left and come back without any memory of being here before. Last time I attributed the personality differences to her being from a different dimension, but this time that does not seem to be the case. Nevertheless, it's too soon to tell if she is any different, and I shall likely never be certain one way or the other.
I'm not sure if Presea and I should move out if it's going to leave only Hikaru, Umi, and Aska here. It wouldn't be fair to ask Hikaru to watch over those two by herself.

Presea and I intend to move into our own place together after we're married in two weeks. Quite a lot of planning has gone into this over the past several months - I sold the Victrola, had a house built to custom specifications in the middle of the forest, and we're mostly finished packing save for a few necessities. It has been literally centuries since I've lived outside of a group setting, and I have to admit that I'm looking forward to the peace and quiet. Unfortunately, in the time it has taken to prepare all of this, our roommate situation has changed. All of the responsible adults who lived here over the winter have left the City, so moving out would mean leaving Hikaru, Umi, and Aska by themselves.
I think that as things stand now it makes the most sense to continue as planned but be ready to move back in should the remaining tenants come too close to burning the house down or something. Hikaru and Umi might be able to manage between the two of them, and it seems like a waste to abandon our plans now without even trying to make it work. It's a compromise, but... City, is this the most responsible thing I could be doing?
