This years first snow just arrived yesterday.

Oooh, snow! Well, here in New York we're getting ready to get hit by a Frankenstorm. Or a Snowicane, depending upon which sensationalist weather report you happen to be looking at.

It's known as Hurricane Sandy to normal human beings, and I'm personally unconvinced that it's actually going to affect us all that much. I'll believe it when I see it! Ah well-- watching everyone panic is a form of entertainment, I suppose!

Oh really! That sounds a bit scary.. though media tends to exaggerate everything. Well I hope that everything goes fine there.

Snow is a nice thing after all. :)

Well apparently now it's meant to be rain, around here anyway. Lots and lots of rain. And possibly high winds, even this far inland. Whereas there could be snow as far south as Virginia. Fact of the matter is, though, we'll never know what's going to happen until it gets here!

I'm fine with it as long as I have a sufficient supply of wine and the canal in my backyard doesn't flood into the basement. 0_o

Yeah. Wine, Internet, books and lots of food is all you need to survive. :) I hope that the canal stays outside.
