I fed a group of ten all by myself. My first large meal!
I made my first turkey, a twelve pound organic bird, seasoned with thyme and sage, stuffed with an apple herb stuffing, and butter basted. There were orange and vanilla candied yams, a citrus and strawberry spinach salad, baked butternut squash dusted with cinnamon and orange, a cranberry sauce (which is honestly the coolest thing ever to make you guys, it started out as juice, honey, and fresh berries and turned into this lovely little jelly all in a matter of minutes), to be finished off with a pair of traditional pies (which were store bought as I have little to no baking prowess).
There were no appendages lost, everything came out on time, nothing was burned or dry or undercooked, it was the very best feeling in the entire world! Oh, except for the second degree (with a little bit of a third thrown in for fun) burn on my arm.
