... I actually had a really nice one. Jillys on Friday on a whim, where we propped up the bar with a twenty-seven year old (Thus neatly sidestepping the usual "we're the oldest ones here, fucking hell, let's go home and watch Star Trek with our slippers on" internal monologue), and had outstandingly geeky conversations about work and... Star Trek, actually ("Top three characters to go to the pub with? Well Worf, obviously, for the karaoke"). Mum came over on Saturday and we had watercress soup and coffee at the Eighth Day, Lost in Translation at the Cornerhouse, Hoegaarden and vegan enchiladas at Zumbar, then Merlot and The Filth & The Fury for the nth time at home, then the most taxing thing that happened to me on Sunday was mashed potato and raspberry tea. Now, of course, I'm full of phlegm and coughed myself awake all night, but it looks as though my co-bosses may be about to swing for each other, so today might be worthwhile after all.
Edit: And it's nearly one and I haven't done a scrap of work yet. Outstanding!
