In ten short days, I'll be traveling to a place I've never been before: Indiana. I've never really ventured east of Kansas City/Council Bluffs, Iowa. Counciltucky--as it's so fondly called by native Omahans--is just over the Missouri River from Omaha, Nebraska. It's known as a trashy place for marrying teh gheys, casinos, and city counsel

I had no idea Iowa was so racy. I always pictured corn, corn, and more corn - much like Kansas.

Well Kansas has wheat, wheat, and more wheat. Iowa just recently let same sex marriage be allowed, and an Omaha fireman who lived in Iowa, was recently aquitted, was the councilmember. It made national headlines because he's fighting to get his high paying fire fightin' job back.

Yeah, one of the first things you see coming from Nebraska into Iowa is the Riverboat casinos.
