Do you remember me mentioning that I work around the corner from a TV studio? Well they have turned an empty lot across the road from one of our buildings into a film set. Yep, seriously. I work near the banality that is known only as Wansworth, although my company claim we are near Putney as it sounds posher. The film company took over a shop in Old York Road last year for filming. Anyway, it gives me something to gawk at when I cycle to work but apart from that it's not really that exciting. They mostly film Ready Steady Cook and Richard and Judy in the two studios, which says it all really.

We might be recruiting again soon, so it may be worth a speculative CV, but it will probably just be for software engineers unless one of our admin people decides to leave. I can email you the name and address if you like?

Ah-HA. Thanks for the offer, but my software engineering skills are so second to none that they are in fact... non-existent.

Nah, you just have to let those big trucks know who is boss. Seriously, I take the back route along the river most times, so no evil traffic until Putney bridge.
