O-m-g, it’s a post with beacoup pictures…

Need to get one in though before I say good bye to my teenage years…

I haven't updated in quite awhile now, and school/birthday is approaching fast so...I've split the entry into 2 parts. Part 2 will come soon. Part 1 goes all the way back to December 17th, through Christmas, skips over retreat (Dec. 22-29), hits New Years, and ends before my trip to Houston (Jan. 2-6). Lots of pictures (~80).

Part 1 of 2:

Friday, December 17 evening, I got picked up to go to Sacred Heart’s Sweet Sixteen along with Jim, Mary, and Winnie. Omg, I can’t believe I went to the METRO before…for Jesuit’s senior prom. Wow…and now I got to go again, woohoo. When we drove by the front of it, we dropped Winnie off, but then we didn’t have another invitation to get Jim in, oops…so then after we parked, we ran into Bo and his friend RJ. Lol.

Jim: There’s no way we’re gonna get 4 guys in there with just two invitations. 4 guys going in there just look bad. =P

The security peeps looked at us weird when we tried to explain our situation and they just let us walk in. =P

Lol, wow, such bad quality. Anyways…yeah, that was part of the invitation.

The front of the invitation.

The line to take pictures was long for most of the night. For some reason, it seemed kinda weird to see parents there, but oh well. =)

The music was awesome, lol, and the rooms were very nicely decorated. I was impressed. There were candy on the tables and food in this third room. It must have costed a lot to fix up and get the place. Gj to Sacred Heart. =)

The fake Gingerbread house. Mmm…they had some yummy food like finger sandwiches, homemade chocolate chips cookies, spinach/artichoke dip, broiled fish on a stick, muffalatas! Oh, how I would love to eat some of that now…

The second room that finally had a lot of peeps dancing. =) Upstairs had the baby pics of the students where people could sign it. Aww…

Awwww….=D

Mary and I left around 9pm, but I must say that I had a lot of fun for the time I was there. No drugs and alcohol, good music, and ample amount of space. If there was a club or a place that had that, that would be so awesome.
That night, we met up with Kenny, J Chung, Jason, Carol, Hameed, his g/f, and another friend to watch Oceans 12. I enjoyed it, although now I want to see the first one.

How random is that? I’m sure that most of the roads are taken though…I think I’ll stick with trying to name a star…=)

I was invited to play at the CPC’s Christmas program on Sunday. The music wasn’t too difficult, and it was awhile since I last played the clarinet…But I had to leave around 4pm to head over to the NOCBC’s dress rehearsal for the Musical play. =)

The rehearsal wwent alright but still had a few problems. Afterward, I showed Edward and Becca some dances moves for the grandma/grandpa dance scene. =P Hilarious. At 7pm, the program started, and I thought that it was a success, despite a couple of mistakes, but it was entertaining. O-m-g, the dance scene was “classic,” haha…=P

Pastor Bobby Massey spoke again about the meaning of Christmas. And then the Slidell teens sang some Christmas tunes, as did the NOCBC children.

Aww, how cute. Cousins!

From that weekend:

Scary doll that Amy has, ahhhh!

Ahhh, once again, my camera cell phone and its scary pictures…

Random shots: I’ll start it off with a few random license plates I saw while doing Christmas shopping… OBEHAVE, 2SEXI4U, 4 IT, WASSSAP. Lol…

Celebrity bus at Wal-mart. Getting supplies for 7 layer dip. =)

He’s missing half his body, lol…

Hahah, dirty Mashimaro that DD had. =P

Yay for kute HK Disney toys. =)

December 22: The following happened on either Monday or Tuesday:
For a couple of days, I helped worked on a painting church project. It took awhile to mask all the edges of stuff but it was productive in the end. The hallway was painted beige and some of the rooms were painted either warm sun or blizzard blue. =P

I got to try the McAlister’s in Kenner for the first time. Yum yum. =)

J Chung at work with Big CC working away at the windows. The spray painting tool was fun to watch, hehe.

Scary…me and Compi had a method for taping the ceilings. I’d start taping and he’d use the bottom end of the broom to sweep the tape, lol…=P The project was completed within four days which is really good in my opinion. Go teamwork!

I went to Celebration in the Oaks for the first time via driving tour. Beautiful.

I think this looks pretty cool for some reason. Floating cubes, hehe…=P

The entrance to the driving tour. I used up more gas than I thought, lol, but I had great company and music to accompany me. ^_^;

One of the days was Compi day, lol…where we went to eat at Pho Bang. Tried one of their dessert drinks for the first time. Mmm…also got to finish Christmas shopping and get materials to construct a gift. =)

My mom received an artwork from her co-worker. Really good job. =) He’s supposed to make a bigger one in the future.

Thursday was my boi, Mikomo’s birthday, and he, Mary, and I went to Bennigans to have lunch. Later that night, I and many others went to Christine’s house to eat food and do randomness. I also finished my testimony and sent it to the Pastor. I was proud of what I had wrote and was ready to share it with others. =)

What a yummy combination. Who needs ice cream cake when you can just combine two types of dessert. ^_^;

This picture was taken long ago, so I took a picture of a pic, lol…and this is how it came out. What is J Chung doing? lol…and it looks like there are halos around Jason and Carol’s heads. =P

I got a ride with Compi to go to Jonathan’s house to practice worship music using guitars and the African drum. We rocked the room. =P Nice crib btw.

Was invited to join Danny, Jlui, Cheryl, and Joy at Morning Call for some beignets. Haven’t eaten those in years! =0

Cold night. *jumps around to produce heat*

Christmas Eve: Headed to the Esplanade Mall again and Walmart to finish Christmas shopping. I can’t believe I bought so much stuff, lol…the most money I’ve spent during Christmas.

This was found in Suncoast. How scary. Eek…

For lunch, I went to China Orhid with my dad, and we stuffed up on some yummy fish entrees.

That evening, stopped by Mary’s house to wrap my gifts, and Shau came over to pick up gifts. I didn’t have time to wrap her gift all nicely so it turned out ghetto, lol…=P Yeah for build-a-bear boxes!

We headed to church for the Christmas caroling by the youth group. It was successful, but there was a little drama at the end, hehe…

Aww, friends 4 ever. =)

I don’t quite remember the names of the people’s houses so I’ll just go by number. Compi led the caroling, and so we ended up singing around 3 or 4 songs per house. These are the treats that were given to us. =)

2nd house - We saw Julliane, the main baby of the house, lol…isn’t she kute?

The choir singing again. =P Everyone looks so focused!

It’s J&J! =P It was so funny to see people try to hold her. In the arms of the men, especially Compi, she was start crying, lol…=P She’s attached to her mommy.

Ophie, Joanne, Katrina, and Christine. =)

From there, we headed to a 3rd house, who had someone recovering from cancer. They didn’t have food so it was quick. So then it was off to Kenny Wang’s place, where they had a bunch of older church peeps and lots of food. ^_^;

Just look at that, all that food, yum yum!!!

oooo, Uncle Cookie eyeing the good stuff. =P

There was more food in the kitchen! But it didn’t get gobbled up like the dining room.

DD and Karyn, cousins 4 ever! =)

Kenny observing this special moment at the end of the year.

The last house was Uncle Cookie’s house for the white elephant. They had awesome lemon bars. One room had people playing scrabble while the other was the chill room.

Kenny trying to make friends.

That’s way too many people on his couch.

Yep, too many.

Look at all the shoes!

Ok, so let’s recall this moment. There were 30 people doing white elephant. I was number 3, so I picked out an AMC movie theater gift card. After about 10 people, I got it stolen, so I stole $10 from Jim, and then I got that stolen, so I stole Bo’s Optical Mouse. Not bad. In this pic, it was Alvin’s turn, and by this time, Danny had opened Mikomo’s gift of a Hello Kitty keychain, Spiderman 2 poster, and Spiderman 2 DVD. Sharon stole it from Danny, and so she got it taken away from Alvin, which was wrong, hehe…
Poor Sharon…but it was all good because Mikomo gave her a $50 gift certificate at Best Buy. =) Yay for the time of giving!

Cha-ching!

Don’t know when I’ll use this…

Afterward, I went to Kevin’s house with Mike to deliver my presents to Kevin and Zack. I felt down and unappreciative while watching everyone open their gifts. I just sat there and drifted off. =/ Went back home for Christmas.
Christmas Day: Started the day by going to my grandma’s house for lunch with my parents and my Uncle Ricky and g/f. Good eats.

My Uncle Ming had a dinner party, but I didn’t go to that. Instead, I went to Celebration in the Oaks, hehe…

Snow on Christmas Day! The first time I saw snow! Woohoo!

O-m-g, the funniest thing happened at my cousin’s house. My cousin got a virtual reality snowboarding game, with a plastic snowboard to put one’s feet on. One had to maintain balance on it, while looking into a ight source to see the game. It was hard to even start the game, lol…maintaining balance was really hard, haha…
I also got some more supplies to work on my gift. =)

Christine, Kenny, Joyce, Luke, Mary, and myself went through the walking tour of celebration in the oaks. =) Pretty.

This is where four of us shot a Charlie’s Angel picture. =P

LUKE!!! Haha, while leaving the place, he and I tried to hide from the rest of the group. It was rather unsuccessful but funny to watch, hehe. =P

All of us went to Morning Call afterward to get some beig-nets. Mmm…we had a waitress who seemed to be pissed at us for taking so long to order. Oh well…

You go gurl!

New Years Eve: The next couple of days, I got to play XMEN: Legends with Alvin and we’re almost done with it. =) That evening was Kenny’s New Year’s party, in which he gave his last lesson. =( There were a lot of people there, thankfully. =D Cherishable times.

Compi and Cheryl practicing for the singing.

Lol, keyboard…

Look at all those guys…just waiting to eat and get down with G-O-D.

The leader of that night.

Kenny and Gloria.

Oh yeah, who’s ready for some munchin’ time. I was, lol…

There were many games going on at the same time, from Taboo, the Guesstures, to upward scrabble, cards, spoons (pens), Twa, and more…

I learned how to play Twa for the first time, lol…and might I add that Taboo had its moments of redonkolous-ness. Don’t ask why “Four scores and seven years ago…” relates with JFK Jr. =P

Can’t have a New Year’s without busting some bubbly. Lol, sparkling cider and welch’s grape of course. Mmm…

Lol, I don’t know how I managed to get this shot. Looks like a bonfire, but it’s really a rocket going off in the air. There was a lot of smoke in the streets. So some of us thought that we should play Infiltration. Luke and I went off down the street and later found out that the seeking team gave up.

Another scary picture, of me taking the pic when someone else was taking a picture. =0

Boys will be boys. =P

New Year’s Day:

La Madeleine’s fruit tart. Mmm…
Went to see Lemony Snicket’s A Tale of Unfortunate Events with Mikomo and Mary. I enjoyed it.

I headed to Kevin’s house that night, where there was some deep talk about love and relationships. Love is so complicated.

So anyways, that ends the days around the church retreat and Houston. Tune into the other entry for the trip goodness. =)
