I cant even count the times ive broken mine... Fell asleep on one pair, got hit in the face by a football and snapped another, sat on one... This is why i wear contacts all the time :)
hehe, we should write a book entitled 1001 ways to break your glasses - there seems to be books giving 1001 ways to do everything else, so why not breaking your glasses? lmao
i nearly broke mine the other week when a guy whacked me in the face after releasing a fairly powerful backhanded frisbee throw. ouch. fortunately they were bendy enough to go back. they're still a bit wobbly. I had to sit off for half of the point whilst i bent them back into shape. our team still won the point though. yay. Covey
I saw a specsavers advert on TV the other day - funnily enough it was during a commercial break between two parts of The Bill - those bendy/unbreakable glasses are in the sale for £99, with prescription lenses including bifocals.. or something like that anyway. I'm not very clued-up on all of this optical technobabble. Still though, it might mean something to those folks out there who wear glasses.
ah yes. thats ok so long as your not so short sighted that price of your lenses far outweighs the price of the frames. the lenses they include aren't powerful enough for blind little me.
