((OOC: Doesn't it suck? My friends live in my computer, or are books, or my Mom. The nearest kid who I know is my cousin. Whom I hate. Sorry if its kinda long; the site I go to basically demands long posts. It's a habit.))
Had Nolan moved any faster he might have caused a sonic boom. Knocking a person out of the way and leaping over another who was trying to get their Pny out of the floorboards before he reached the door, he opened it, and stared at the person in front of him. Several times he had opened the door and found it wasn't the person when he asked them your name.
"Please, please tell me that you're the Pheonix woman" Nolan stopped, remembering the people in the apartment building. "person" pause "thing. I'm not trying to be rude or anything but- Oh, screw it, if you're going to slap or hit me or kill me or do something really really nasty to me, do it now, please." he said, looking at her.
Phoenix was taken slighty aback from the abrupt door opening and the ramble of the man in front of her. She stood there for a few moments blinking until she just remembered that she had to speak.
Uh, yes. I'm that Phoenix woman-I mean, yes I'm Phoenix. Nix is fine actually.
((OOC: Know how we tell if the snow is deep or not? We toss a kitten outside in the snow, and if he pokes his head up, its not deep. If he doesn't, you throw the nearest kid in to save the kitten. JOKING! JOKING
( ... )
((OOC: I AM SO, SO SORRY FOR NOT POSTING. I'M REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY SORRY.))
Astraea looked at the woman.
"What do you think you're supposed to do?"
She was standing in the room with Lynx Sook again. The man spoke those very words, and she had stopped for a minute and wondered what to say. Then she answered, and said "Find my aunt."
"You have a short term goal. That's good, child. Now, I am going to tell you what you will learn in time, and what you need to know."
And he did. Astraea never felt so alone when he told her.
The girl snapped out of it. Two people had told her that, now.
She would give both of them answers. "I.. I w-want to l-learn h-how to f-fight. I d-don't w-want t-to l-live in f-fear my wh-whole l-life."

"If that's what you want to do, I'll help you. It will not be easy but if you put your heart and soul into this, it will be attainable."
((OOC: That's okay. Life kinda railroads you when you least expect it.))
