I feel your pain, blacks were and still are in the same boat. It's sad.

I'm not racist in any way, because I'm Asian and I've gotten a lot of crap about it, but I don't see how being black relates to Gwen. She was trangendered. They weren't beating her down because she was Latin, they were beating her down because she was trying to be who she really was on the inside. I don't see how any race can compare to that.

Of course it does, it compares on the sense of being discriminated against just for being who you are. I don't understand how you don't see that it compares. Blacks and gays have encountered hate crimes for years just for being who they are. On the whole scale, gays still don't have the same rights that other Americans do. Blacks were struggling to be treated equally under the law not too long ago. And that statement wasn't just relating to Gwen, it was relating to the entire entry in general.

Okay, that's possibly true but black people aren't as discriminated against as much now. And they have the same rights as anyone else now. I guess it just really got to me how you solely pointed out black people as a comparison. What about Asian people? Latin people? Mentally handicapped people? Any other people who have ever been discriminated against, including white people? It's not just black people and it really bugs me when people think only black people were ever hated when there are so many others who were also. It's just like whenever a black person and another person of a different race get into a fight, someone always wants to scream "RACIST" and it's not right. It's not just black people. It's people in general, light or dark, red or yellow.

I'm just about ready to visit the Phelps family and erect a statue up their asses.

And I watched that last night too. The part that got me crying was how the fucking boy took her into the bathroom, KISSED HER, and then beat her to death. For a few hours. And strangled her.

My favorite part was at the end, where the mob was outside her mom's house and that guy from the gas station came to escort her family to the church. It proves that not everyone is an asshole.

She was so beautiful.

I feel like I've lost two people in a matter our hours. Gwen and Keon. (My journal explains Keon).

It's not fair.

This was my whole point in going through your old entries. In my memory, though, the argument had been longer and more vicious. However, my interjections are as shiningly intelligent and well-thought-out as ever. :)

I wrote a lot more in this entry, but I've decided to save it to my harddrive and keep it as a mysterious secret. Bring it up with me one day, and ask for the file "memory.txt". :D
